January 2025 - Introductions

Hi everyone!

I’m relaunching my blog in 2025, with the plans of mostly sharing studio updates and my creative process for my various types of project. With who knows what going on with social media, I’m hoping this blog can serve as a singular location where I can connect with you - my customers, fans, community - and share what I’m up to.

Don’t worry, I don’t want to be long-winded here, but for those interested in seeing more behind-the-scenes than my social media offers, this is going to be the place. It will also allow me to be more descriptive and share more pictures with context.

Additionally, I’m looking forward to sharing my horse experiences with my mustang Freya and any other personal stories and news that might be fun, interesting or helpful.

So here’s an introduction:

My name is Beatrice Rudolph and - for as long as I can remember - I’ve wanted to spend my life as an artist or doing something with horses. These two passions informed my decision to study Equine Science and Studio Art at Colorado State University after high school, graduating in 2015.

Now, it’s been a minute since I graduated - and you might be asking yourself - how on earth does she make a living with those degrees? Well, I currently work as a Digital Marketing Manager for a business-to-business publishing and marketing company. I was fortunate to get a job out of college that has led me here.

In studying at CSU, I realized I might not be able to be a horse trainer like I wanted, and that being a full time artist is hard, too. A day job was more than necessary in order to afford my expensive horses and art hobby. It took time, but it’s working out now, as I spend my free time on my art and horses, and the art is starting to support itself. And I can earn enough money to live life. Now, let me be the first one to admit I’m lucky - my family has been incredibly supportive and, without them, none of this would be possible.

As an artist, I work in a lot of different mediums. This includes spray paint, acrylics and oils for paintings and charcoal and pencil for drawings. I also spend a lot of time working on horse models - that is, plastic, resin or pewter horse figurines. I also sculpt and cast my own medallions (bas relief horse sculptures) in addition to customizing model horses.

As this blog continues, I’ll introduce more elements and details about these different types of project - I hope you’ll enjoy it :)
